My Story
Empirical Consulting and Education blossomed from a simple truth: communities thrive when organizations are supported by experienced, values-driven partners who truly understand the work.
After decades of working in the nonprofit and education sectors as an executive director, program director, educator, development lead, volunteer coordinator, and board member, I saw firsthand the challenges that mission-driven organizations face - limited capacity, ever-shifting priorities, and the constant pressure to do more with less. At the same time, I noticed a pattern. Organizations didn’t always need a full-time hire or a massive consulting contract, they needed a trusted partner. Someone who can step in with flexibility, who understands the complexity of nonprofit life, and who can meet them where they are with practical, strategic support.
That realization led me to start Empirical Consulting and Education. “Empirical” reflects both my experience and my approach; I'm grounded in real-world practice, driven by data and reflection, and focused on sustainable, meaningful impact.
Today, I partner with nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations to provide support with fundraising, strategic planning, education design, leadership development, and much more.
Empirical isn’t just a business. It’s a way to give back to the communities I care about, to walk alongside leaders doing hard and hopeful work, and to build something better together.
